Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
We especially wish to point out that we use Google Tag Manager (GTM) on our website, through which we integrate the application of Google Analytics 4. Provided you have given your consent, we use Google Analytics to analyze your use of the website. The data we collect from this is used to optimize our website and our advertising measures.
Google Analytics is provided to us by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) as the responsible authority for users in the EU/EEA and Switzerland. Google processes the data on website use on our behalf and is contractually obliged to guarantee the safety and confidentiality of the data processed.
With Google Analytics 4, the anonymization of IP addresses is enabled by default. Due to this IP anonymization function, your IP address will be abbreviated by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other states that have ratified the Convention on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to one of Google’s servers in the USA and abbreviated there. Google states that the IP address transmitted from your browser by Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
We use the user ID function. With the aid of user ID, we can assign an unambiguous, permanent ID to one or more sessions (and the activities within these sessions), and analyze user behavior across various devices.
During your visit to our website, your user behavior will be tracked in the form of “events”. During your visit to our website, the following data (events) will be recorded:

Third country transfer
Insofar as data is processed outside of the EU/EEA and the level of data protection does not meet European standards, we use EU standard contractual clauses to ensure an appropriate level of data protection from the service provider. The parent company of Google Ireland, Google LLC, is headquartered in California, USA. The possibility that data may be transferred to the USA and that US authorities may access the data stored with Google cannot be ruled out. The USA is currently considered a third party country from a data protection point of view. It does not have the same rights as the EU/EEA. As the case may be, you have no right to legal remedy concerning access by the authorities.
Retention period
Google Analytics stores cookies in your web browser for two years after your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly-generated user ID, with which you can be recognized upon further visits to the website.
The data recorded is stored along with the randomly-generated user ID, which makes it possible to evaluate the pseudonym user profile. This user-related data is automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data will be stored for an unlimited period in aggregate form.
Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect by accessing the and changing your selection. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. You can block cookies from being stored from the outset, by setting your browser software accordingly (please see above for information).
